Laura Sturaitis Promoted to Senior Vice President Media Services & Product Strategy
NEW YORK (BusinessWire EON) September 4, 2007 -- As SVP Media Services & Product Strategy, Sturaitis directs Business Wire's U.S. Media Relations Specialists as well as ExpertSource, Licensing & Online Content Development and DataSearch Services teams.

Sturaitis joined Business Wire more than 15 years ago as regional manager for Florida and led that office from 1992 to 2000. She was promoted to Director of New Media Development in order to coordinate Business Wire's expansion into online delivery and the multimedia enhancement of news releases through our Newstream joint venture, and then was promoted to VP New Media Development in 2002. Sturaitis is a member of the vendor council of the Society for New Communications Research and a co-founding corporate member of the Social Media Club.
Prior to joining Business Wire, Sturaitis was Vice President and General Manager at International Business Chronicle, Miami, and before that Circulation and Marketing Director at The South Florida Business Journal, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communications and English from St. Thomas University, Miami, and a Master of Business Administration from Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida.
