AlphaMetrix, LLC Announces Dennis R. Zarr, former Senior Vice President for Rand Financial Services, to Join Firm as Chief Operations Officer

Chicago, IL (PRWEB) February 6, 2008 -- AlphaMetrix, LLC today announced Dennis R. Zarr is joining the firm as Chief Operations Officer and the newest addition to its highly specialized team.

Mr. Zarr most recently served as Senior Vice President and Director of Business Development for Rand Financial Services, Inc. Aleks Kins, Founder and President of AlphaMetrix, announced the appointment.

Mr. Zarr has over 30 years of extensive marketing, operations and systems experience in the futures, securities, options and banking industries. While at Rand, Mr. Zarr was responsible for expanding the firm's institutional presence in the international and domestic marketplace.

Prior to joining Rand in 1993, Mr. Zarr was Executive Vice President of a privately owned commodity pool operator, responsible for managed futures business development and marketing both internationally and in the U.S. Mr. Zarr has held senior sales and operational positions at other major financial institutions. He has extensive experience in dealing with international and domestic money center banks, brokerage firms, investment advisors, pension funds, international government agencies and other financial institutions. Mr. Zarr also headed global operations for ContiCommodity Services, Inc. a major worldwide futures organization and held various managerial positions with Bache Halsey Stuart Shields, Inc., Automatic Data Processing, Bradford National Corporation and The Midwest Stock Exchange.

Dennis R. Zarr is a former member of the Chicago Board of Trade, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chicago Board of Options Exchange, and the Philadelphia Stock Exchange. He is the past president of the Chicago Operations Division of the Futures Industry Association.

Mr. Zarr received his B.S. in Finance from DePaul University.
