Maconomy US Achieves 59 Percent Profitable Growth in 2007: Company Poised for Continued Growth in 2008

BOSTON (Business Wire EON) March 5, 2008 -- Globally, Maconomy's total revenue rose by 24% compared to 2006 and license revenue increased by 35 percent thereby reaching total revenue of $45.5 million and profit before income tax of $360K. With this, Maconomy reached three significant milestones: achieving primary financial targets for 2007, realizing break-even before income tax, and exceeding 100,000 global users. While all markets experienced revenue increases in 2007, the US office achieved the highest percentage growth. Maconomy continues its momentous growth outlined in the strategy plan "Roadmap for Growth 2006-2008" from August 2005.

Maconomy added two significant modules to its enterprise resource planning software suite in 2007, Maconomy People Planner and Maconomy AnalytiX, which will continue to fuel the company's growth. People Planner is an advanced capacity and resource planning solution that can be used as a stand-alone software application or fully integrated with the Maconomy ERP solution. AnalytiX is a business analysis tool based on the Business Objects platform that help companies analyze and present business-critical information across the company.
