Method 1  Free advertising sites like Craigslist.org  Easy to use. You want to advertise your lead capture page so visitors will provide their contact information. Your sponsor or coach should be able to provide you with good sources of information on generally unknown free or low cost tips showing how to optimize the use of these advertising sites.

Cost for this method is free. You can upgrade and pay for other services on these advertising sites, or sites that help you maximize results on these free advertising sites latter, if they are successful for you. You can do searches on the search engines for other similar free advertising sites.

The trade off for this method is that although free or low cost, it can be time consuming.

But if low cost is the issue, this is a great place to start! Best thing is that you can have an ad up and running today!

Method 2  A lead capture page offering free audio or e-book with business building tips, or company or opportunity information that you provide. You can record a video yourself, or include an audio from your teams or companys websites, as allowed per your teams or companys approved policies. Make sure you read them carefully, as your company could suspend, or terminate your association if violated.

If you use e-books, you dont event need to write one if writing is a challenge for you. There are many free, or low cost sources of e-book with great content.

Cost for this method include a monthly fee of about $20.00 for your list/autoresponder service, and $10.00 annual fee to register a domain name (you can get them for less, or free if you dont mind the domain service provider placing advertisements on your site). Some domain providers even have free or low cost websites and capture pages. The trade off is that they want to place advertisements on your site. You want to avoid this if possible, and you want your capture page to have a singleness of purpose (collecting names, email addressed and phone numbers of prospects and customers), and not have distractions that draw visitors attention away from opting-in and providing their contact information.

Method 3 - Online Video Sites are one of the hottest trends on the Internet. Video sites like YouTube are exploding, and offer a great opportunity to get tons of free traffic online if you have limited funds for marketing.

There are several things you will need:

A video camera. A low cost option would be a FLIP video camera, around $150, but cheaper on sale. Additionally, it is easy to use and can automatically load your videos to YouTube.

A video editing site or program. This can be the most costly part of your low cost marketing strategy, at around $300. You can try software like Camtasia.

Your video should target a specific audience or market, contain relevant content and a good message, and have a singleness of purpose and a specific call to action. You want them to go to your capture page so you can get the contact information. Give good incentives. To see what is effective, to YouTube and look at the top videos.

Cost for this method is slightly above $300, but it is a one time expense that will keep on giving. Next month it will cost $0.

Method 4  Press releases are a free to very low cost strategy. A press release is simply an announcement or and explanation of a service or product. Press releases can generate natural or organic traffic, based on keyword contained in the release. The search engines give rankings based on the keywords. A press release can also generate traffic from the press release submission services themselves if you provide relevant content using relevant keywords.

Method 5  Blogs are simply on online platform that allows individuals to publish, create, and post relevant, and even some good irrelevant, content on the internet.

Blogs are smple to set-up and getting running, and easy to maintain. You can get free traffic from the major search engines, other blogs, and social marketing websites. Visitors see blogs as much more genuine than sales letters and other advertisements, and are much more open to your content.

Blogging can be fun, because it allows you to put more of yourself in the content. You want to be relevant to your business, but you also can make posts which allow others to see the you behind the content. The strategy is to brand yourself and a leader and an expert in the field you are blogging about. Additionally, blogs are interactive, as they allow readers to comment on what you are putting out in the blogosphere.
